葉 文 ABOUT TONY
1957年生，桃園大溪人，自學陶藝家，1997年聯合國教科文組織UNESCO國際陶藝學會IAC會員為海峽兩岸三地首位會員。陶藝創作三十餘載數十次國內外重要展覽、講座與評審。2004年於桃園大溪始建柴燒窯「層窯」。創作以承襲華夏傳統陶瓷工藝，呈現東方柴燒之禪意美學，開闢現代陶藝新領域。1990年曾任美國羅德島學院客座陶藝教職。1994至1997年赴美國南伊利諾州立大學等六所學校訪問藝術家。90年代作品收錄在美國Hands in Clay大學用書。1994年至1998創辦陶藝雜誌與陶者雜誌並任總編輯。1997年任國際金陶獎執行長。1999年受聘荷蘭國際陶藝千禧諮詢委員。2005年覺醒系列作品編號W401獲韓國世界現代陶藝博物館購藏。2008年受聘台灣國際陶藝雙年展評審甄選委員。2010重要陶藝論述”間離美學”於台灣發佈。2012年覺醒系列作品編號 [天-905]獲北京草場地美術館購藏，作品編號[地-1201]獲台灣新北市鶯歌陶瓷博物館購藏。第二屆新北市陶藝成就獎主任甄選委員。

Founded in 2004 in my home land firewood kiln “three kilns.” Created with inherited Chinese traditional ceramic craft, showing Zen aesthetics of Oriental firewood, opening new areas of modern ceramics. Rhode Island College of visiting teacher for Chinese pottery, New England,US 1990. 1994-1997 went to Southern Illinois University in the United States and other six University visiting artist. Work in the 1990s included the University of Hands in Clay books. 1994-1998 Founder Taiwan ceramics magazine and served as chief editor. In the International Gold Award pottery CEO, 1997. International “Ceramics Millennium “employed Netherlands Advisory Committee 1999. Series Awakening No. W401 for acquiring modern World Ceramics Museum, Korea 2005. Taiwan Ceramics Biennale competition of Juror committee 2008. Release “Alienation gap aesthetics” important pottery papers in Taiwan 2010. Awakening series No. -905 for Beijing Chow-zan-tie Museum of collection, and works number- 1201 for Taiwan New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum for collection 2012. The second New Taipei Ceramics Awards of the Chief of Selection Committee 2014.
